Strong detail that exceeds the basic EF grade. I compared this to a recently sold PCGS/CAC EF-40 coin and it clearly has better detail.  As typical for the age of the collection this came out of, an old cleaning, however no egregious hairlines and the color is acceptable. There are obvious traces of remaining luster and this might well certify in a non-details holder if submitted, however I have not tried (yet), preferring to offer it in it's raw state.  I think most people would be perfectly happy with this as a high grade circulated example of this Semi Key date, at a somewhat discounted price.  As always, the coin is guaranteed genuine, in perpetuity, backed by our firm's 80+ years in the business, and all the industry "garden salad" (PCGS/NGC/CAC,ANA, etc., etc.).  As an interesting side note, this coin displays strong clashmarks in the area between the pine boughs and Eagle's wing feathers, shown in the last image provided.  This area is one of the most complicated on the Reverse die and it is obvious that the Mint did not want to remove detail by leaning on the grinding wheel to remove all of them.  This does not add to the value, but perhaps adds some "flavor" for an interested party.  Please note that due to higher value, depending upon delivery address this may require Registered Mail shipping, which is slower delivery time.  Please take this into account prior to considering a purchase.
