A bit of an underrated date. Choice Very Fine, equivalent to what will normally certify VF-35. Very close to a full EF however lacking just a bit of sharpness in the detail due to the common poor strike this date suffers from. This is most notable in the center of the Reverse. Not a significant problem on balance, given that this coin appears original, if just slightly dark in areas. This would likely holder at PCGS or NGC, unless they get stupid and call the color "environmental damage" - with them you never know. Personally, I like the coin, and someone who knows the series should as well.
