1901 Indian Cent, Choice Unciruclated, Great Color!
An original coin, with deep red-orange Obverse toning, hints of sea green around the rim. Darker overall on the Reverse, with a deep red center surrounded by faded red-brown. This is ORIGINAL, natural color, the result of being held in a non-numismatic accumulation, where the storage conditions were not ideal from our perspective - this accounts for the very minor spotting. Equivalent to what will normally certify MS-63, likely as “Brown”, however ignore the grade, this coin is all about the color. I don't expect this to be everyone's cup of tea necessarily, but if you like colored Bronze/Copper coinage, this should be of interest. While I guarantee the color to be natural, I cannot guarantee the response at either PCGS or NGC, who don't seem to want to deal with anything that takes more than five seconds of thought.
