Technically a "Brown" by the standards of PCGS/NGC, however the actual color is an attractive mix of light orange-brown with blue undertones.  The coin is actually brighter than shown here, due to the lighting used.  A couple of light stains typical of coins saved randomly do not seriously detract. Well struck for an 1894, with a full bold date, not always available as such.
