Well struck and original – much better struck than many of this Type, which tend to be a bit mushy due to the Hub used being a bit worn. Some noticeable areas where original planchet color still shows, particularly on the Reverse. Certainly nicer than many AU’s I see of the mid-1880’s dates, which typically come more “mud brown” in color.
