1872 Indian Cent, Extremely Fine PCGS XF-40, Scarce

1872 Indian Cent, Extremely Fine PCGS XF-40, Scarce
$475.00
An original high grade circulated example. Like many of the date not a spectacular strike - unevenness is visible in the date and the legend (US of A), which varies from weak to strangely "fat" looking. Problem free, original surfaces, which is RARE. Like the 1871, a lower Mintage combined with heavy melting by the Treasury meant low survival, especially in higher grades. I have included images of the coin prior to grading as well, as I believe they show the surfaces and color a bit better.
