Medium deep charcoal gray toning, which might be considered a distraction, however there is a solid coin underneath. The coin is not quite as dark as my images make it appear. It is my impression based upon experience that this could be conserved to remove the toning (this is not corrosion), however I am loathe to fiddle with what I consider an original coin. This is what untouched Liberty Nickels that have been stored in a can or box for a Century commonly look like - before some bonehead scrubs them, as is normally encountered. Understanding that most people do not understand a coin that looks like this, discounted a bit accordingly.
