Typical of this issue, the detail is a bit weak at the top of Liberty's head. For some reason, planchet stock as well as strike are a major problem this year, despite the lower mintage, perhaps due to the huge numbers of Morgan Dollars being made occupied the better efforts at the Philadelphia Mint. However all letters of LIBERTY do show;  this is not the case even with many certified examples.  A VERY old light cleaning has left some hairlines, however the color is what I would call normal now, and many people could not tell that it had been cleaned (and a lot of dealers would not mention it either).  It might even certify today if submitted - in any case guaranteed genuine.  A nice solid mid grade circulated example of this popular Key Date.
