A seemingly largely original example, which is scarce for any better date Barber Quarter. This is also an example of Lawrence-101, described in the standard text to the series as a blundered date. While that is a logical assumption for the obvious feature, this variety is not listed in Cherrypickers, or recognized by PCGS or NGC. This appears to be an earlier die state of the feature than that shown in Lawrence 2nd Edition, and looks more like some form of die damage than a classic MPD. Either way an attractive high grade example, and perhaps worthy of further study by someone who is a fan of the series.
