Equivalent to what you typically see certified in the AU-53 to 55 range. A bit scuffy across Liberty's cheek which may not show too well in our mages, but nothing serious or out of the ordinary for a Barber Quarter in AU. The Obverse appears to perhaps been lightly wiped a long time ago, however not the Reverse, which retains almost all of the luster in the fields. About half of the luster remains on the Obverse, and the color is good overall considering, with some interesting light toning highlights. The toning is not quite as dominant on the coin as it appears in our images, due to the lighting used, so the coin is lighter overall than it appears here. The stars on the left side of the Obverse are weakly struck, however oddly enough the strike seems more than OK for a New Orleans Mint product elsewhere.
