A very attractive Gem example of this slightly better and underrated date. Assumed to be “common” as it is from Philadelphia, however not as frequently seen in better Mint State grades compared to the 1935 and after dates. This displays the “thick & creamy” luster described by David Hall, overlayed with bright peachy orange toning. Fully struck with a complete hand on Liberty as well as a “full head”, which for some reason has never caught on as an attribute. Both the original submitter and I thought that this had a shot at MS-66, and I feel certainly CAC-worthy.
