An attractive Choice AU example of this better date, equivalent to what would normally certify AU-55. In my opinion lightly cleaned at one point, possibly just by being lightly dipped, however certainly still acceptable for a set of circulated coins. About half of the luster remains, and well struck - this was likely a Full Bands example when originally struck. Ridiculously undervalued, as evidenced by the wide gulf between posted Wholesale values and what one of these commands in a PCGS holder. In this case, while I think this might still certify, I don’t see the point - nor do I see the point in charging a “certified coin price” (but I still want a reasonable premium, as tough as this date is to find!).
