A bright original Choice AU example of this Semi Key date, better struck than many, showing a full date. Frankly, I had hopes that this would come back AU-58, however PCGS has certainly tightened up recently based upon a number of coins I submitted. No signs that this coin was ever cleaned or “conserved” to remove toning, it shows a light blush of hazy silver-gray toning on the Obverse, a bit more light yellow-gray on the Reverse. A coin that would fit very nicely into any high grade, AU/BU set of the series.
