Hard to believe - an original AU-58 example that has not been dipped! In my experience, virtually all AU/Unc survivors (and most Uncirculated ones as well) have been dipped or “processed” at some point. In the case of true AU-58’s, the object was to make them appear “Unc”. This has original creamy off-white luster, with just a tinge of very light green. No rarity to be sure in the absolute sense, however not something that you see every day when talking about common date Barber Half Dollars. I would say “perfect” to represent the Type. FYI, I will guarantee a certified grade of AU-58 should anyone decide to send this in - it is priced accordingly.
