The first of the so-called “Philippines” dates, as the majority of the Mintage was sent there to replace Spanish colonial coinage after the U. S. took over administration in 1898. As a result, surviving high end circulated examples are typically found cleaned, usually badly, after repatriation to the U. S. This coin is a pleasant exception, being apparently 100% original and problem free. I will guarantee a certified grade of EF-45 at any major service,and probably a CAC sticker as well - priced in accordance with this opinion.
