An attractive Choice BU example of this famous and popular Key Date.  The color is very even and just slightly darkened from the original, with none of the "woodgrain" planchet issues sometimes found on early S Mint dates.  No spots, stains, significant marks or other distractions. Given the relatively wide variation in color commonly found on this date, does not look too far from a full Red based upon other RB & RD specimens I reviewed.
