Tied for the Top Pop at PCGS in Brown (26 total), with 29 coins at NGC. Somewhat oddly enough, for a date that is scarce but not absolutely rare, no PCGS examples in MS-66 after almost 40 years of grading. There are six (6) NGC MS-66 higher, none of which are CAC stickered.  Relatively low CAC sticker Pop of 12 in MS-65BN, with none yet certified by CACG in 65 or 66.  This is guaranteed to cross to the new CACG holder at the same grade if submitted in situ.  It does not get much better than this.  This exact coin is also the current lead image for the date on PCGS CoinFacts.  So much for the carnival barking ... on to the coin itself.  This is an attractive bright specimen of this popular Semi Key date, with nice luster that pops off the surface.  Light tan-gold surfaces, a little brighter and with more red surface on the Reverse.  Fresh to both the PCGS and CAC Pops as of April, 2025.
