Definitely original, with hints of the original planchet color remaining. Sharp for the date, which typically does not come great as San Francisco was new to the manufacture of Small Cents. All four diamonds and 90% of the detail in the feathers, less the tips of the top 3 which were opposite the wreath bow and Mintmark on the Reverse. Luster is evident however does not necessarily “pop” off the coin, as much due to the planchet alloy problems this date has as how it was stored. All in all a solid example, in not necessarily PQ. Note: the older PCGS holder shows some scuffing however no damage.
