Snow-24. An attractive original Uncirculated coin certified PCGS MS-62BN, a conservative grade. Bright orange-brown surfaces and an extremely clean Obverse save one small tick on Liberty's cheek. In my opinion the grade was assigned based upon the slight staining on the Reverse, as well as the slightly "mushy" appearance of the wreath, shield and details on "ONE CENT". This of course is a characteristic of the variety due to the pivoted hub doubling which mushed out the details. One of a pair of virtually identical coins repatriated out of Europe, the other a PCGS/CAC MS-63BN I previously sold. Unfortunately this Snow number is not recognized by PCGS, so no attribution on the label is currently possible. Certainly PQ for just a MS-62 in my opinion, and a possible upgrade candidate (at NGC?).
