Monster strike for this date, with nice even overall detail, a full bold LIBERTY and date, with a sharp Mintmark.  One of the most difficult Buffalos in my experience to find with a sharp full horn, other than the ridiculously bad 1925-D & S issues.  David Lange felt this was possibly the most difficult date in the series to find in (correctly graded) VF to AU; I can't dispute that opinion.  Commonly overgraded by the services in my opinion, certainly by old school standards.  A few light surface issues however unquestionably original - I think worth a premium for the strike.  Individual coin images by PCGS; I may add some more of my own later.
