A fully original Uncirculated example of the first Denver Mint Nickel. Typical of a coin put away by a non-collector as a souvenir of the new coinage, with some extremely light “hairlines” from sliding around mixed in with other coins (not from a cleaning). One obvious scuffy line across Liberty’s chin visible in the Obverse image not as obvious on the coin when viewed. The thin “brown” line is a bit of Cooper closer to the surface not completely mixed in the alloy. Otherwise, perfect original color with obvious luster and no carbon spots - some tiny “flecks” around the coin typical on non-numismatic storage. Equivalent to a certified MS-62 coin.
