San Francisco Earthquake Souvenir, Silver-plated.  Uncirculated, certified NGC MS-61, one of seven in the grade (this specimen not yet in the NGC Census as of June 15, 2020), with only two better in MS-62.  One of the prime 20th Century grade rarities, common as a circulated piece, not so certified in Unc. The metallic content on these is all over the map, from Silver-plated over various Copper/Bronze alloys, to those with Silver content varying down to perhaps as low as 30-40%, based upon discussions with Jeff Shevlin and Bill Hyder.  Additionally, the production standards used were not fabulous, and planchet quality suffered - this piece shows a couple of obvious light laminations.
