Very Fine or a bit better; based upon observed third party graded coins, this appears to match many that were graded as VF-25.  This date has odd striking characteristics, with Obverse & Reverse not necessarily matching, so certified grading is commonly "Net" based upon surfaces.  In this case, a very old, very light cleaning and a slight rim bruise right below the "1" of the date means I don't feel the need to send it in as I believe it would fit better into an album page.  Out of an old collection where I know it has lived for 30 years or more. The Reverse shows classic "Whitman folder" reddish-gray toning, which would suggest that this was cleaned in the 1960's.  Certainly serviceable and attractive overall compared to most I see that have been more serially abused.  Guaranteed genuine backed by our firms 80+ years in the business, plus all the industry "garden salad" (PCGS, CAC, NGC, ANACS, ANA, etc., etc.).    1025-05
