Extremely difficult to find in this grade range due problems with strike that plague this year. David Lawrence stated in his book on the series that this date “always with a soft strike in the central Obverse”, although this coin appears to have what I associate with “normal” detail for the grade in that area. Equivalent detail to a certified Fine-15, a bold, full LIBERTY and still retains small traces of luster in hidden areas. Old cleaning as usual, a bit more harsh than I like to offer but still a meaty coin that bears consideration given the difficulty in finding one at all.  The color is decent as it has recovered some from the cleaning, but the cleaning is still noticeable to the experienced eye. Considering that you would have to pay around $600 or better for one from a knowledgeable dealer in the series if problem free (one on ebay as of March, 2020 at $675!), this should be of interest to someone.
