A nice Choice AU example of this better date, showing a bit of light wear and scuffing on bright, lustrous surfaces - more luster and better color than I could capture in my images. The strike is OK, showing just some light signs of die wear, not unusual for this Wartime date. There is also a sense of slightly Prooflike nature to the surfaces, which sometimes appears on coins struck from dies that were repolished to keep them in service.
