This is a later die state where the “dot” between the “8” and first “1” in the date has elongated and appears as a stubby extension sticking out of the denticles. Aside from that, a nice original example of this early date Half; other than a few very minor rim nicks seen on the Reverse, no problems. You try looking “perfect” after 200+ years! Overall detail closely matching PCGS VF-20 specimens, allowing for the variation in strike due to different die states. With the later die state and minor edginess, call it a Choice Fine+.
