The classic date to represent the Type, as there are many to choose from. This is a nice example with considerable luster. The light “lines” visible are from planchet rollers used to prepare the blank, which were in heavy use to produce the large number required - obviously “QC” was not prime on the Mint’s mind at the time. These are noticeable but not too horrible, and the overall quality of the coin makes up for the minor distraction.
