Head of 1837, Plain Cords. N-7, easily recognizable by the heavy arching die crack on the Reverse. Equivalent to what you normally see in a certified AU-55 holder. I almost sent this in however there is a soft rim bruise at 8-9:00 of the Obverse, so I felt it would do better serving in an album where this would not be noticeable. A tiny bit of micro porosity, very possibly in the metal itself when struck, but I would call this problem free for early Copper. Very pretty to boot and might well certify as a high end AU should anyone wish to try.
