This saw a relative minimum of use before being put aside as an example of the new coin design, just enough to produce some visible wear down Liberty’s leg and dull some of the luster in the fields. Not as nice as the 1916Walker I am also offering (if still available), however it is my belief that this would certify as an AU-58 as well. I suspect a VERY old, light dipping based upon the surfaces, however the color appears natural and this would have no problem at a service if submitted. Not much spread between AU-58 and MS-61 for this date, as a reasonable number were put aside in 1916.
