First date of U. S. Silver Dollar struck at the New Orleans Mint, and popular as such. A solid EF+, very scarce in this grade range and above, per Bowers. Decent medium-gray color (actually a bit darker than shown here), I assume lightly cleaned at some point in the past as many if not most have been. This did not bother PCGS, and the color has largely recovered now. No other significant problems to note, and certainly still a worthy coin for a mid-grade set of the series. Tough to find when you need one. A couple of images also included of the coin prior to certification.
