Large Planchet/Trident Shield, Maris 64-t.  After the end of the Revolutionary War, the shortage of small change in circulation was critical, leading several individual States to issue token coinage equivalent (usually) to the British Half Penny. The New Jersey issue was large, with numerous Major varieties existing, well over 20. Certified NGC Fine Details for surface issues commonly encountered in this series.  The details however are plainly evident.  The curved line between about 3:00 and 5:00 of the Obverse is most likely from a failed attempt with a planchet cutter.  Tougher to price given the surface issues, but that listed is based upon what similar specimens have sold for at auction in the recent past.
