Although lightly cleaned at some point in the long ago past, like seemingly most circulated examples, it retoned nicely with an overall violet-gray shade with blue-green rim highlights, a bit more light red at the center of the Reverse. The Reverse detail as is common is a bit weaker, due to the use of an older die.
