An original, problem free near Gem example of this tougher date. Well struck although not quite full on the bottom of the wreath, possibly all it took to short this the half grade. Nice color, a sort of slightly “peachy” gray, with lustrous surfaces. A low percentage at CAC vs. PCGS/NGC Pop numbers: 150 at PCGS, 108 at NGC versus only 23 CAC (when last checked). Takes quite a jump in price in MS-65, making this a reasonable alternative.
