Seems wholly original, with soft "old Silver" coloration. As it goes sometimes, I like the surfaces of the 1876-S PCGS MS-61 coin shown in this archive a bit better, than on this specimen. A few more significant marks on this coin, however still a nice coin to represent the Type.
