A bright, flashy AU/Unc example of this common Trade Dollar date, with a single Chinese chop mark on the Eagle’s neck. Enough to add some historical “flavor” without demonstrably disturbing the fabric of the coin. Some images of the coin taken prior to certification are also included, as they may show the surfaces and color a bit better (it is commonly difficult to get the true measure of a coin through a layer of plastic). An attractive example of this survivor of the early cross Pacific trade.
